LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- It was the special screening of much anticipated movie “True Grit” In Hollywood on Thursday where the actors of the movie and many renowned faces of the film fraternity walked the red carpet. The new version of “True Grit” is directed by Coen Brothers and the movie will probably hit the US theaters on December 22. Though many renowned actors performed their best in the movie, actress Hailee Steinfeld stole the show with her remarkable performance and wonderful portrayal of character.

Hailee Steinfeld plays the role of a girl named Mattie, who hires Jeff Bridges to avenge her father’s death. The actress enjoyed all the attention from the shutterbugs at the special screening and also the critics were all in praises for her performance. The film has received quite positive reviews and Jeff Bridges’ role also caught media attention. The critics are of the opinion that the actor performed so well that it seemed he has absorbed the character in his own marrow. On the other hand, Hailee Steinfeld gave a noteworthy performance in the movie and as per critics, she gave an accomplished performance in the movie.

A renowned critic said that Hailee Steinfeld managed to get into the skin of her character without cuteness or coyness. Director Ethan Coen said that the book is written on Mattie’s point of view and it is entirely in the voice of a 14 year old girl. It seems that Hailee Steinfeld managed to live up to the expectation of the audience. While speaking about her experience, the gorgeous actress said that she swayed her co-actors from using foul words on the set of the film. She said that she set up a swear jar where she asked everyone to put money when they utter a foul language.
