Both Parker and Longoria want their prenup enforced. But when Longoria’s lawyer filed the divorce papers, the attorney checked the box that reserved the actress right to collect spousal support - something that is inconsistent with their prenup.

Since Parker’s lawyer felt Longoria ’s divorce papers left open the possibility she would challenge the prenup, he wanted to protect his client by filing in Texas, which several experts believe could be beneficial to the player in terms of enforcing the prenup. (ANI)
