I would love to play Draupadi: Bipasha Basu (Movie Snippets)

MUMBAI - Bipasha Basu, who has essayed different roles, is now keen to play mythological character Draupadi.

“I would love to play the character of Draupadi. In fact, I got an offer but right now it’s hanging in the air somewhere. I think it’s a very dynamic mythological character and I think I’ll do it well,” Bipasha told IANS.

In the epic Mahabharata, Draupadi was the daughter of King Drupada, and became wife of the five Pandava brothers.

I’ve a guest appearance in ‘Tees Maar Khan’: Akshaye Khanna

Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna revealed that he doesn’t have a full fledged role in Farah Khan’s next directorial venture “Tees Maar Khan”.

“I’m just making a guest appearance in ‘Tees Maar Khan’. I just had to work for 10-11 days. I’ve known Farah for years now and I love her to death. She is mad, completely cranked, her films are also cranked, so it was great fun working with her,” Akshaye told IANS.

“Tees Maar Khan”, slated to hit screens Dec 24, is an action comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

I don’t do films to make money: Emraan Hashmi

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, known for doing roles with grey shades, said he doesn’t do films to make money.

“I don’t make films to make money, I make films to be able to make more films, so when a film of mine is a hit, it buys me more time in the industry, that’s how I look at it. All of us just try to stay afloat in the industry,” the actor told IANS.

After starting his career with “Footpath” in 2003, Emraan went on to be part of hit films like “Murder”, “Gangster - A Love Story”, “Jannat”, “Raaz 2″ and “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai”.
