I was starstruck when I met De Niro for the first time, says Usher

LONDON - R and B singer Usher has revealed that he was completely starstruck when met Robert De Niro for the first time.

‘The Yeah!’ hitmaker was enjoying a night out partying with his pal Leonardo DiCaprio recently when he spotted the ‘Goodfellas’ star in the same venue.

And Usher was so taken aback by seeing De Niro, he spent the evening lavishing praise on the actor.

“I was starstruck the other night when I met Robert De Niro for the first time,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling Marie Claire magazine.

“(I told him) that I love him and think he’s incredible. Me and Leonardo DiCaprio were at a club and I went over to him and introduced myself.

“I love sitting with people who are smart and have a vast understanding of life because I wanna know more. Who he is as a businessman and what he’s done with his real estate, his taste, his lifestyle,” he said. (ANI)
