TORONTO - Actress Pamela Anderson, who recently stripped for Playboy, has donated her earning to a charity which ensures clean drinking water. And she says countries like Pakistan need the water.

The former Baywatch star posed nude for the January 2011 issue of the magazine and received $25,000. She donated it to Waves 4 Water, a charity distributing filters to people who don’t have access to clean drinking water, reports torontosun.com.

“Waves 4 water are my heroes. They get things done… and yes, Playboy wrote them a cheque when I shot the cover directly for 25Gs,” she said.

“I’ve also donated personally. I wish I could do more. Indonesia, Haiti and Pakistan are all in need of these filters. Spread the word!” she added.
