LOS ANGELES - British comedian Russell Brand will ride a decorated horse and get an escort of camels and elephants when he marries fiancee Katy Perry in Jaipur this month.

While the date of the wedding is not known, the event is expected to take place at the Rambagh Palace — where Brand proposed to Perry over New Year.

“The procession (will) start at the gate of the hotel, with the bridegroom sitting on a beautifully decorated horse that is escorted by camels and elephants,” eonline.com reported.

“Folk dancers then welcome the couple with a traditional routine, fireworks and a special buggi (horse-driven cart) ushering them into the main garden for the wedding,” it said.

After getting married in India, the couple will still need to have a civil ceremony in the US for their union to be recognised there.
