EMMA STONE is set to net one of Hollywood’s hottest roles - she is reportedly the favourite to take over the MARY JANE WATSON character from KIRSTEN DUNST in the newly rebooted SPIDER-MAN franchise.
Movie bosses stunned film fans earlier this year (10) after announcing relatively unknown British actor Andrew Garfield would replace Tobey Maguire as the famous web-slinger in the upcoming 2012 release.
Studio execs have been on the hunt for an actress to replace Dunst and play redhead Mary Jane alongside Garfield, and are ready to offer the part to 21-year-old Stone, according to Deadline.com.
