‘The Pacific’ named best miniseries at Emmy

LOS ANGELES - Set in the World War II, “The Pacific” was named the outstanding miniseries at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday.

Directed by Jeremy Podeswa, the 10-part series focuses on the US Marine Corps’ battle with the Japanese in the Pacific during World War II.
