A concert promoter who was duped into booking JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE for a gig in the Philippines has been awarded nearly $1.2 million (GBP800,000) in damages from a man who posed as the singer’s talent agent.

Promoter and ALV Events International President Arnold Vegafria sued Kofi Degraft Johnson after he paid to book the SexyBack singer for a 2008 show.

Timberlake failed to appear and Vegafria sued after learning that Johnson had no authority to schedule concerts for Timberlake.

Johnson never responded to the lawsuit, reports the Associated Press.
