MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — After the blockbuster hit movie “Jab We Met” Shahid Kapoor’s career is much dependent on Badmash Company. The much anticipated movie has been released today all over India. In Badmash Company Shahid Kapoor has shared the screen with Anushka Sharma, the sizzling beauty who made her foot step into Bollywood with Rab ne Bana di jodi opposite King(Shahrukh) Khan. The movie also stars Meiyang Chang, Vir Das, Anupam Kher, Kiran Juneja in important roles.

Badmash Company is a Yash Raj film, produced by Aditya Chopra. The film is directed by Parmeet Sethi. Pritam has contributed to the beautiful music of the movie that enthralled the audience.

Story

The movie is set in the life of Bombay (now Mumbai) during the early 1990s. The life of an average Indian was far different from his/her counterpart at this time. Consumerism had not made its entry. Luxury of the West was far beyond the reach. Four friends — Karan (Shahid Kapoor), Bulbul (Anushka Sharma), Zing (Meiyang Chang) and Chandu (Vir Das) start an import business of things, long being craved by the natives. Their venture earn them huge success as they find new way to beat the system. To start a business what one needs is not big money, but big idea — this is what they discover.

In Badmaash Company, Shahid Kapoor once again appears as a bad guy, after Kaminey. The movie has described the life and dream of the youngsters. Love, action, romance and fun come with a natural flow in the movie, but still the audience feel there was something missing. May be a strong script would have fulfilled that gap.

Overall the movie is good. Badmaash Company is the second big budgeted Hindi movie after Housefull movie. The name of the movie suggests a group consists of bad guys. Shahid has given a rock-solid performance, while Anushka moved the viewers with her charming appearance.
