LONDON - Actress Lindsay Lohan’s father fears that his daughter might end up becoming the next Marilyn Monroe or Anna Nicole Smith due to her wild lifestyle.

Michael’s new lawyer (and CNN legal analyst) Lisa Bloom says he remains determined to “save and protect his daughter,” and is prepared to pursue “legal action” if necessary.

“Michael has a problem millions of Americans have - what can a parent do when an adult child appears to have a serious alcohol or drug problem? Michael loves his daughter with all his heart,” usmagazine.com quoted Bloom as saying.

“He has watched along with the rest of us over the past few months as Lindsay has been photographed partying and clubbing night after night, appearing as though she is under the influence of alcohol or substances…with his own two eyes, just last week, he has seen her looking worse than ever.

“Michael is not going to stand idly by and watch his daughter become another Hollywood statistic… he wants to prevent Lindsay from becoming another Marilyn Monroe, Anna Nicole Smith, Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, or Corey Haim,” said Bloom.

Meanwhile, Lohan’s mother Dina is planning to obtain a restraining order to keep Michael away from daughters Lindsay and Ali.
