NEW YORK - American actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has revealed about the ups and downs of her love life and her hopes of finding Mr. Right.

Hewitt, 31, who split with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy last week, and who has just released her new book “The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name Is Jennifer Love Hewitt and I’m a Love-aholic”, appeared on NBC’s “Today Show” on March 23.

“I think it takes a lot of frogs to find your prince,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

“I don’t think anyone truly enjoys dating.

“I’m better in relationships than I am going out with one guy on a Monday and then another one on a Wednesday and another one on a Saturday. It feels weird to me.

“So, I tend to spend time with people and have boyfriends versus dates,” she said.

Hewitt told USA Today that the timing of her book release and her break-up from Kennedy is “not the ideal situation”, but she has no problems with it.

“I never say in the book that I know how to find perfect love or how to be in the perfect relationship,” she said.

“I’m thrust back into the dating world as the book is coming out, so I feel more than ever that people will know I’m kind of with them in the trenches.

“It’s what life handed me, and I’m OK with it. I know wholeheartedly that I’m a really good partner. I think I’m a really good girlfriend, and I think that I could be a really good wife.

“I know that I love being able to give my love out to someone. I know there is somebody great out there for me,” she added. (ANI)
