NEW DELHI - After making forgettable appearances in movies like “Heroes” and “Fox”, action star Sunny Deol is back again with “Right Yaaa Wrong”. Releasing Friday, it is about two friends who turn foes in their quest for supremacy.

Written and directed by debutant Neeraj Pathak, the crime thriller has been produced by Subhash Ghai. Apart from Sunny, “Right Yaa Wrong” also stars Irrfan Khan, Eesha Koppikhar and Konkona Sen Sharma.

“Its an entertainer with great performances by Sunny Deol and Irfaan Khan. I have seen Sunny in such a charged and dramatic role after a long time. He is just too good, though Irrfan has also done a great job. The songs are also very nice and I am sure it will be a super hit, Ghai had said about the film.

Right Yaaa Wrong is the story of two cops - Ajay Shridhar (Sunny) and Vinay Patnaik (Irrfan). Their intense rivalry leads them on a battle for supremacy.

Ajay’s wife (Eesha) is found brutally murdered and he is the prime suspect and the case is being handled by his friend, Assisstant Commissioner of Police Rane. And Radhika (Konkana), Vinay’s younger sister, is Ajay’s only support.

The investigation leads to a mystery locked with secrets. And all this ends up in an astonishing discovery.

Apparently Sunny and Ghai were at loggerheads over the completion and release of the movie as it was slated to come out in 2009.

With no major hits to his career after “Gadar - Ek Prem Katha” (2001), it is to be seen if “Right Yaaa Wrong” helps Sunny at the box office.
