KARACHI - Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has once again criticized the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government for its flawed policies, and called on for mid-term elections in the country.

“If the current government completed its term, God forbid, Pakistan might not complete its time,” Khan said.

Addressing a press conference here, the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief said came down hard on the Gilani government for carrying out military operations in the tribal regions.

“The United States and NATO are holding talks with Taliban, but we are killing our own people in our own country,” The Nation quoted Khan, as saying.

Referring to the water dispute with India, he said government’s foreign policies have completely failed.

“By stopping our 25 per cent water on Chenab River, India gave us a harsh message,” Khan added. (ANI)
