Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin in garden fence row

LONDON - Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, the Coldplay singer Chris Martin, have offended their neighbours with their security plans.
The 37-year-old actress and Martin, 32, have become embroiled in a dispute with their neighbors in north London over plans to erect a huge metal fence at the bottom of their garden, reports the Telegraph.
The couple has submitted plans to Camden council for a 10ft barrier to divide the garden of the house that they bought from Kate Winslet and her husband, Sam Mendes, for 2.5 million pounds in 2004 from that of their neighbours.
Paltrow and Martin say that they need the fortification, which will replace a smaller wooden fence on top of a brick wall, for security.
However, one neighbour in Belsize Park, who refused to be named, said: “It’s rather over the top. Who cares who he is? You can’t get round the side of the houses and into the garÂdens anyway.
“Other houses in the street are as much at risk of opportunist burglaries as his is. We don’t ask for huge fences between our homes,” the neighbour added. (ANI)
