Miss India Pooja Chopra eliminated from Miss World pageant

JOHANNESBURG - Miss India Pooja Chopra was eliminated from the Miss World pageant here Saturday, failing to make it to the final round of seven competitors.

Chopra had earlier made it to the semifinals on the strength of her Beauty With Purpose project on saving the girl child.

There were 16 competitors in the semifinal round.

Pageant Coach Ritika Ramtri who has trained several Femina Miss India, Gladrags Megamodel, and Haywards 5000 Mr. India, Grasim Mr. India, Gladrags Manhunt and Gladrags Megamodel winners. She is also the trainer of Miss Kerala 2008, MTV Scooty Teen Diva and was the Country Head for Miss Intercontinental 2008. Ritika coaches people for both national and international pageants.
