Disney sensation MILEY CYRUS was left stunned at her 17th birthday party - after the star’s mum surprised her by booking the cast of Broadway musical ROCK OF AGES to perform at the bash.
The Hannah Montana actress, who turned 17 on Monday (23Nov09), organised an early 1980s-inspired bash at New York City’s Canal Room last Wednesday (18Nov09), where she partied with pals including her The Last Song co-star, and rumoured boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth.
And the birthday girl, who dressed as Julia Roberts’ prostitute character in Pretty Woman, was left open-mouthed during the celebrations when the Rock of Ages stars arrived for a private performance.
A source tells the New York Post, “Miley had seen the show two weeks ago and loved it, so her mom Tish brought the cast in to surprise her.?
The teenager and her friends later dined on a custom cake decorated with lace and purple accents.
