Cox And Coco’s Lice Dilemma

COURTENEY COX had a hairy situation on her hands after her five-year-old daughter COCO contracted head lice - because she infected the daughter of another celebrity pal with the skin-feeding insects.
The Friends star is so embarrassed little Coco’s play date with another celebrity tot turned wrong, she refuses to name the Academy Award-winning actress whose offspring was infected.
She explains, “I look over and she (Coco) is itching her hair… I was so panicked, so I called her (the actress) up and I was like, ‘Guess what? We’re either going to be the best of friends, or you’re never going to talk to me again.’ And I said, Coco did in fact have lice.’ She said, ‘Oh, it’s just a right of passage.’ She was so sweet.”
But the incident turned from bad to worse when Cox realised her own head had been infested by the bugs.
She adds, “I got it and it isn’t so funny anymore - especially when the paparazzi follow you (into the hair salon).”

Poor little Coco…that is the cutest kid by the way, isn’t she? Anyway, that has to be SERIOUSLY embarrassing to have your friend know it was you that gave THEIR child lice. It shouldn’t matter, but there is a huge perception that dirty people get lice. The truth is they like cleaner folks much better. You head is their condo…but anyway. I hope they get through their little lice ordeal unscathed. Great article. |
