Pals fear Lady Gaga’s heading for a breakdown

WASHINGTON - Lady Gaga’s pals are afraid that the singer is heading for a breakdown after her break-up with boyfriend Speedy.

The ‘Poker Face’ singer’s friends are unsure if she has enough mental stamina to be able to cope up with other pressures in her life

Contactmusic quoted a friend as telling Britain’s Look magazine: “Everything seems to have gone wrong at once for her. She split up with Speedy last month and since then I think the toll of relentless touring and promotion over the past year has hit her.

“We’re worried she is going to have a breakdown if she keeps going on like this. She’s clearly heartbroken and exhausted and she should slow down and look after herself. But even though she says she’s ruined her life, it’s as if she’s addicted to the fame.”

Last week, the 23-year-old Grammy nominated singer had said that fame ruined her life and that she was incapable of coping up with the pressures which fame brought with it.

She said: “If anyone had told me at the start of my career what success brings with it, I would have thought twice about it. Now I know you have to choose between fame and love. Both don’t work together.” (ANI)
