WASHINGTON - Actress Sienna Miller is completely aghast after meeting a gang rape victim in the Democratic Republic of Congo who was violated by the butt of a rifle.
“I was just looking into her eyes, and she was utterly broken. How can you have hope?” Contactmusic quoted her as telling in a new Nylon magazine interview.
The Brit had narrated the story of the young woman she met during a trip to Africa with the International Medical Corps in a post on Huffington Post website.
She said: “She had been raped by men with the butt of a rifle. Her whole stomach had been split open, and I saw it. She was scarred all the way down.”
In fact the girl was raped so brutally she will have to use a colostomy bag for the rest of her life. (ANI)
