UK press brands Elle Macpherson ‘too old’ for mini dresses

ADELAIDE - The British press is apparently not too happy with Aussie supermodel Elle Macpherson’s knees.
The stunner has come under fire for flaunting her less-than-perfect knees in a mini-dress, reports The Adelaide Now.
Britian’s Daily Mail says the 46-year-old made a stunning entrance at the recent party for all the wrong reasons.
“Unfortunately for her, the focus of attention was not her impossibly long legs or enviably trim bottom but the fact that her knees looked as though she’d spent the morning cleaning doorsteps and used a Brillo pad as an exfoliator,” writes the Daily Mail’s Claudia Connell gleefully.
“At the age of 46, Elle has fallen victim to saggy knee syndrome, a cruel and distressing affliction that can randomly strike any woman over 40,” she added.
Connell believes that Macpherson has speeded up the ageing process through years of sun exposure.
“That’s why there comes a time when every woman in her 40s must accept that her days of wearing miniskirts and hotpants are over, and she must embrace a wardrobe that consists of below-the-knee hemlines,” she said. (ANI)
