LONDON - Pop stars Sugababes have cancelled their promotional appearances on TV and radio after two of its members fell ill with influenza.
Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah have been diagnosed with a “severe bout of flu”.
Thus, the trio was forced to cancel radio and TV interviews for their track ‘Get Sexy’.
The Sugababes will resume their work schedule as soon as they recover.
“They’ve been instructed to take at least a week off before a reassessment and so will unfortunately be out of action for at least the next seven days,” The Daily Express quoted a statement from the group as saying.
However, it has not been confirmed if the singers are suffering from the H1N1 swine flu virus, which has claimed an estimated 700 lives around the world. (ANI)
