Bonnaroo, CMA Music Festival kick off Thursday
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Whether your musical tastes lean toward Nine Inch Nails or Brad Paisley, there’s something for you in Middle Tennessee as both the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester and the CMA Music Festival in Nashville run Thursday through Sunday.
This year’s Bonnaroo features Bruce Springsteen, Phish, the Beastie Boys, David Byrne, Nine Inch Nails, Wilco, Al Green, Snoop Dog, Elvis Costello and many more.
About 60,000 fans are expected to attend the festival, now in its eighth year.
An hour north, the Country Music Association’s annual festival draws around 52,000 a day. Paisley, Trace Adkins, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire and others will perform.
The festival is a chance for fans to see live music and maybe even meet their favorite country singers.
