LONDON - Simon Cowell apparently called Susan Boyle to offer his ‘unconditional support’ to the strained star who is presently recovering in a rehab clinic.
The Britain’s Got Talent boss allegedly assured the 48-year-old, telling her: “Whatever you decide, I will support you unconditionally.”
The judge was said to have even proposed tearing up her tour contract to take pressure off her shoulders.
Susan was rushed to a clinic after she collapsed following a week of intense pressure tremendous pressure that saw the red hot favourite losing the show title to street dance group Diversity.
The Scottish church singer was purportedly worried about recording an album with Cowell, who has purportedly assured her that the deal still stands and they could begin “when she’s ready”.
“Simon wanted to speak to Susan to let her know he is thinking about her, and also that she does not need to do anything at the moment except get better,” the Mirror quoted a friend of Cowell as saying.
“They had a long conversation and, hopefully, it made Susan feel a bit better. She is on the mend and doing well.
“One of her big fears was going back to Scotland without winning because in her mind that would have been a failure.
“Simon told her she had done brilliantly and that she was a great singer who was going to record a great album when she was ready. It is just what Susan wanted to hear,” the friend added.
But Susan may not perform with other finalists in the BGT’s sell-out tour, which begins on June 12.
Organizers fear the songbird, who has learning difficulties, may not be well enough to sing. (ANI)

I hope Simon watches over Susan as we all know, unfortunate as it may be, that, there are a lot of phonies out there. I know Simon will give her nothing but the best advice for her career. She has a wonderful wonderful voice. |
