LONDON - American actor Denzel Washington has revealed that he has lost all hopes of ever playing the role of US President Barack Obama on the big screen. Washington, who is 54-years-old, says that when the time comes for making the inevitable biopic on 47-year-old Obama, he would be too old to be considered for the part. “When Obama’s story is ready to be told I’ll be too old to do it,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
“And if it were made now, he has too much to do to have me asking for tips on how to play him,” he added. (ANI)
