Dannii Minogue finally heads to UK to seal X Factor deal

LONDON - Aussie singer Dannii Minogue has finally agreed to continue as a co-judge on the X Factor show, and flown to UK to seal the deal.
Minogue, 37, had refused to commit to the new series, and her friends claimed that she was stalling because she was unhappy about the way she was treated last year.
However, now, after getting assurances from Simon Cowell, 49, she has agreed to return, with recording for the hit ITV1 series set to begin next week.
“Dannii is looking forward to filming the show - she’s determined to have a lot of fun,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
She was paid 750,000 pounds last year, but is now thought to have been given a rise that puts her on a par with the 1million pounds Cheryl Cole, 25, is getting paid.
“It was never about the money. Dannii was very, very unhappy with the way things went last year. She felt she’d been hung out to dry,” a friend said.
“She hated all the nonsense about her so-called feud with Cheryl and hated being portrayed as a miserable party-pooper.
“Dannii couldn’t wait to go back to Australia. But she was finally persuaded that the show wanted her,” the friend added. (ANI)
