LONDON - Singer Pete Doherty is creating his own range of jewellery.

The 31-year-old crooner has collaborated with former Cartier designer Hannah Martin to create “Albion Trinketry”, a luxury range of rings, chains, cufflinks and pins.

Petes been obsessed with antiques and trinkets for years, so he thought this was perfect. He didnt want to do anything tacky or laughable so he was chuffed when Hannah got on board, dailystar.co.uk quoted a close friend of the Doherty as saying.

Another source added: Its really great, impressive stuff and I think Petes going to surprise people.

A spokesperson for the collection also confirmed that Doherty is creating jewellery range.

He said: Hannahs interpretation of Peters ideas and her bespoke approach to design has ensure a collection that is both original and timeless. Each piece has a sense of regency and history yet also modernity reflecting the past whilst also giving a nod to the future.”

Peter and Hannahs designs encapsulate modern luxury. Their aim during the design process was to create collectables that will last the test of time and be handed down through the generations.
