Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar’s Ex-Husband Ties Knot

MUMBAI, INDIA(GaeaTime.com)- Samir Soni and his longtime beau Neelam Kothari tied the nuptial knot on Sunday in a very privately held wedding ceremony. Samir Soni who was earlier married to Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar seemed quite happy after his newly wed status and so was his wife. Though the couple got married in front of close family and friends, they plan to throw up a gala reception on Jan 26. Speculations are on that many A-list Bollywood stars have been invited on that grand day.

The couple have been dating since three years and were initially planning to get married on November 2010 when Samir Soni was evicted from the house. But the twist occurred and the newly-married-actor had to return to the show, thereby dampening their marriage plans. Finally they tied the knot on Sunday. Samir Soni was earlier married to model and the no-wife of actor Rahul Roy, Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar. The ex-couple got hitched during their modeling days and they got married, though the marriage lasted for a short span of six months.

As the couple divorced, Samir Soni went on to date Nafisa Joseph while Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar went on to marry Rahul Roy. Samir Soni soon parted ways with her then girl friend Nafisa Joseph and bumped into Neelam Kothari three years back. The couple had been dating since and tied the knot on Sunday. Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar was unavailable to comment on her ex-husband’s wedding. On the other hand Samir Soni and Neelam Kothari are planning to go to US for honeymoon. None of the Big Boss inmates turned up at their wedding, but it is believed most of them will attend the reception on Jan 26th.
