LONDON - Sir Elton John reportedly levelled a four-letter tirade against the opponents of gay marriage during a recent event.

It came during a charity gig for the American Foundation for Equal Rights in Los Angeles.

“I think I have it all. I have a wonderful career, a wonderful life. I have my health, I have a partner of 17 years and now I have a son,” the Daily Star quoted the singer, who recently welcomed his first child with long-time partner David Furnish, as saying.

“I don’t have everything because I don’t have the respect of people like the church or like politicians who tell me that I’m not worthy, that I’m lesser because I’m gay, well f*** you!”, he added.

The event, held at the home of political fundraiser Ron Burkle, raised more than 3 million dollars for the fight to overturn California’s Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage. (ANI)
