LONDON - In his latest revelation about his bedroom life, Sting admitted that he loves “dressing up” his 57-year-old wife Trudie Styler.
The couple has been married for 18 years and together for more than 25.
“When we see each other, it’s romance. I don’t think pedestrian sex is very interesting,” the Daily Mail quoted the 59-year-old singer as telling style magazine Harper’s Bazaar.
“There’s a playfulness we have; I like the theatre of sex. I like to look good. I like her to dress up. I like to dress her up,” he said.
Accompanied by images of them kissing and groping like teenagers, the pair called each other their “greatest indulgence”.
The singer admitted they like tawdry romance the most.
“Romantic? We like tawdry,” the 16 Grammy Awards winner said.
Actress and film producer Styler said being separated for months at a time for work juices their romance.
“It’s important to have frank discussions about what the other wants. Being apart juices the relationship,” she said.
Sting said, “Relationships aren’t easy, and I don’t think they’re particularly natural, but we’re lucky because we actually like each other.
“We love each other - that’s a given - but Trudie lights up my world when she comes into a room. I don’t take her for granted,” he said. (ANI)
