‘Water For Elephants’ first glimpse out on internet

LONDON - The trailer of actor Robert Pattinson’s new movie Water For Elephants has been released on the internet, giving fans the first glimpse of the big screen adaptation of Sara Gruen’s bestselling novel.

The film, featuring Reese Witherspoon and Inglorious Basterds star Christopher Waltz, is directed by Francis Lawrence of I Am Legend fame. The trailer was released Friday.

The film is a flashback narration by a 90-year-old version of Pattinson’s character Jacob Janowksi. Jacob’s love interest Marlena Rosenbluth is played by Witherspoon, but their relationship is constantly under threat from Marlena’s violent animal-trainer father played expertly by Waltz, contactmusic.com reports.

“Water for Elephants is slated to hit the screens April 15.
