Special vegan shoes for Natalie Portman by Christian Dior

NEW YORK - The luxury fashion line, Christian Dior, has designed special vegan shoes, free of leather, for actress Natalie Portman.

Portman, who is also the new face of Christian Dior, could now walk without any hassle knowing that her designer shoes are leather free.

The 29-year-old vegan actress was reportedly hesitant about signing up to be the spokesperson for the leather-loving luxury fashion line.

And then the French fashion house designed special shoes for the actress that were free of animal products.

“It was definitely a war inside my head for a long time and finally, I was like, we can actually do something very positive with this, especially given the kind of company Dior is, which is truly elegant,” the New York daily new quoted the actress as telling Woman’s Wear Daily.

“They remade all of my shoes so I can wear Dior shoes without taking lives,” she added.

Sadly for other luxury loving vegans, the shoes are for their spokeswoman only. (ANI)
