Derrick Burts Speaks About HIV

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Derrick Burts, who is also known as “Cameron Reid” in straight films and “Derek Chambers” in gay films has identified himself as HIV positive. He also admitted that he was the unnamed actor Patient Zeta who was diagnosed with HIV positive in October. In his exclusive interview to a reputed media source he described how he came to know about his disease and also how he got the call from Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation (AIM).

Derrick Burts said that the clinic officials called him on October and asked him to come for a check up as they wanted to perform a follow-up test. He said that previously in September the result was negative and all his co-stars were also tested negative. However, this time the result came positive but his identity was not disclosed because of patient confidentiality. On the other hand, the medical officer, reportedly, told him that he may have been contracted the disease while he was working for his movies. Derrick Burts said that this disease is dangerous and it is advisable to wear a condom on the set.

In November AIM released a statement where it was stated that Derrick Burts acquired the virus through his private and personal activities. He said that the results are completely false as in his personal life he only had sex with his girlfriend. He said that in November he went to AIDS Healthcare Foundation center in Los Angeles and he got received good treatment and care from them. While speaking about the adult industry, he said that earning $10,000 or $15,000 by acting in a porn movie is not worth enough. He admitted that the performers in the movie needs to be educated.
