TV show imitates Tiger Woods

LONDON - Controversial golfer Tiger Woods has been mocked in an episode of television show “Law & Order: Los Angeles” which was aired on the first anniversary of his sex scandal.

The episode showed an angry wife beating her golfer husband with a golf club, although a spokesperson for the programme said the similarity between the show’s plot and Woods’ private life was “purely coincidental”, reports dailymail.co.uk.

It emerged earlier this year that Woods had been unfaithful to wife Elin Nordegren, and had affairs allegedly with 11 different women.

However, Nordegren has always denied the reports that she had ever attacked Woods with a golf club, and said: “The speculation that I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous.”

Woods has not commented on the TV episode and is scheduled to host the Chevron World Challenge in California starting Thursday.
