Scarlett Johansson to play alien seductress in new flick

LONDON - Scarlett Johansson is all set to play an alien seductress in a new flick ‘Under the Skin’.

“Johansson plays an alien on earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerising woman,” the Sun quoted a spokesman for production company Film Nation as telling the Hollywood Reporter.

“She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey - her voracious sexuality… Taking her point of view throughout, the film presents a unique look at our world through alien eyes,” spokesman added.

Film Nation boss Glen Basner adds, “We’re so excited to be working on this arrestingly original movie.

“How could we pass up the chance to work with a visionary director like Jonathan, especially when combined with the intriguing notion of Scarlett Johansson as a ruthless alien seductress?”

Production on the project - which has been adapted for the big screen by Walter Campbell - is set to begin in spring 2011. (ANI)
