Scarlett Johansson to play ruthless alien seductress

LONDON - Actress Scarlett Johansson will soon put to use all her beauty and charisma, as she gears up to play a ruthless alien seductress in a cinematic adaptation of Michel Faber’s “Under the Skin”.
Glen Basner from FilmNation, who is launching the project, says Scarlett is the perfect actress to embody the alien temptress.
“We’re so very excited to be working on this arresting original movie. How could we pass up the chance to work with a visionary director like Jonathan (Glazer), especially when combined with the intriguing notion of Scarlett Johansson as a ruthless alien seductress,” contactmusic.com quoted Basner as saying.
Production of the movie is set to begin in spring 2011.
