Katy Perry bit by spider on honeymoon

LONDON - A tropical spider played spoilsport during singer Katy Perry’s honeymoon by biting her, following which she was put on a course of medication.

The singer went to the Maldives for a romantic break with Russel Brand after their wedding in India Oct 23. But within days of arriving, she developed a nasty rash after a creepy crawly sunk its fangs into her leg, reports dailystar.co.uk.

Perry sought medical advice and was put on a course of medication which is said to have left her exhausted.

They are staying at a plush suite in the Soneva Fushi resort.
