Courteney Cox ‘not divorcing’ David Arquette

WASHINGTON - Courteney Cox has spoken for the first time about her split with husband David Arquette, claiming they are not getting divorced.

Cox described the breakdown of their 11-year marriage as a ’separation’ and said she did not know what the future held.

“I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,” People.com quoted Cox as saying in an interview with TV Week.

“This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us,” she said.

Cox acknowledged that she and her husband were no longer on the same page.

“Sometimes you just realize ‘Wow, we actually have grown apart,” she said.

Meanwhile, Cox sought to play down Arquette’s interviews with radio host Howard Stern.

“He [David] is a kook. It’s not shocking and Howard Stern he loves him and I’m a fan of Howard Stern… David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories,” she said. (ANI)
