CHANDIGARH - Bollywood actors Harman Baweja and Mugdha Godse walked the ramp with mentally challenged children on the grand finale of a fashion show here over the weekend.
Many other Bollywood celebrities were also present to cheer mentally challenged children.
“It is a pleasure to be here with special children as we call them and I have done this in the past a lot of times but this is the first time I have done this in front of, I can say media or a lot of other people,” said Baweja.
“I think it is a great encouragement for them to actually be in front of so many people walk on a ramp with a crowd cheering for them. It’s a great morale booster for them. I think that is how the society and most of us should treat them. I am just doing my bit here,” he added.
Manali, a fashion designer had designed the clothes for participants and took pride in saying that she was glad to be a part of this event.
The children who walked the ramp were students from various mentally challenged schools of Chandigarh.
