LOS ANGELES - Anna Nicole Smith’s botfriend Howard K. Stern has been found guilty in the drug conspiracy case.
The case is related to the 2007 drug overdose death of Smith.
Stern and her doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich were all accused of illegally providing drugs to Smith - excessively prescribing opiates and sedatives to an addict, and using fake names to obtain prescriptions - all three had pleaded not guilty.
While Kapoor has been acquitted on all charges, both Stern and Eroshevich were found guilty on several counts, reports usmagazine.com.
Stern was convicted on two of nine counts for giving false names and acting by fraud to obtain prescriptions. Eroshevich was convicted of unlawfully prescribing painkiller Vicodin by fraud.
