NEW YORK - Mike Tyson has admitted that, unlike others, he would have been fine to work with Mel Gibson, who has been axed from ‘The Hangover 2′ over protest from fellow cast members.
The boxing legend, who will be flying to Thailand in November for the movie, said that he would have been 100 percent fine to have worked with the troubled star.
“I’m not going to ever in my life point my finger at anyone. I don’t live in a glasshouse. None of us do. I work with anybody, as long as they’re respectful,” the New York Post quoted him as saying.
Gibson is battling ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva in court, who alleges he assaulted and made threats against her.
He was to join ‘The Hangover 2′ until cast mates - who include Zack Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha - complained and the cameo was handed over to Liam Neeson.
However, Tyson has remained neutral: “We all have that guy — a Mel Gibson-in us. We just don’t want people to be exposed to it. Maybe he needs to go get help. We all need help, and need someone to talk to. I’m not against him, but I’m not for him.” (ANI)
