LONDON - Director Steven Spielberg has talked about how the beauty of Dartmoor in England mesmerized him during the shooting of his new blockbuster ‘War Horse’.

The Hollywood director had spent several weeks on the moors in Devon.I have never before, in my long and eclectic career, been gifted with such an abundance of natural beauty as I experienced filming ‘War Horse’ on Dartmoor,” The Sun quoted Spielberg as saying.

“And with 21/2 weeks of extensive coverage of landscapes and skies, I hardly scratched the surface of the visual opportunities offered to me,” Spielberg added.

‘War Horse’ is based on Michael Morpurgo’s novel - a story of a horse sold to the cavalry to fight in France during World War One. (ANI)
