Arquette cried after sex with another woman

LONDON - Actor David Arquette says he was in tears after he slept with another woman following his split from his actress-wife Courteney Cox.

The “Scream” actor, who split from his wife this month, said he broke down because sleeping with another woman made him realise that the intimacy he shared with Courteney was over for good, reports contactmusic.com.

“After the first girl I slept with, a few days later, I was, like, crying. It was the end of all the intimacy I shared with my wife. It was like a new thing. It was like putting that away. It lacked that emotional love that I always had with Courteney,” said Arquette.

The actor, who has a six-year-old daughter Coco with Cox, recently admitted to sleeping with a waitress but also hinted he had someone new in his life, a blonde Australian woman he met in a Hollywood Hotel.

The 39-year-old actor also said he had remained faithful to his wife while they were together. “I was faithful to my wife for 11 years. Completely devoted.”

The couple didn’t have a pre-nuptial agreement. But if the divorce goes ahead, Arquette could be entitled to half of her estimated $100 million fortune.
