Charlie Sheen should confront his problems: Experts

NEW YORK - Experts believe that Charlie Sheen needs to speak his heart out about the problems he faces, if he wants to avoid a tragic end.

Patrick Wanis, a human behaviour expert and celebrity life coach, said Sheen’s history of mistreating women and patronizing prostitutes are signs of misogyny.

“When you’re violent toward women that means you have deep-seated rage and anger. Until he resolves that, he’s going to continue having problems. Fame and fortune and good looks don’t make up for whatever emotional pain he has,” the New York Daily News quoted Wanis, as saying.

Mark Russ of the Zucker Hillside Hospital said Sheen might have a psychological disorder.

“About 50 percent of patients with substance abuse have a bipolar disorder. They really need long-term treatment and medication to straighten their lives out,” said Russ.

And Sheen is unlikely to seek that help while he’s getting the Hollywood treatment.

Wanis said Sheen hasn’t bottomed out because fans, agents, producers and TV networks continue to reward his bad behaviour but the minute he becomes a pariah like Mel Gibson, they’ll stop working with him. (ANI)
