Peter Crouch to wed Abbey Clancy

LONDON - English footballer Peter Crouch is reportedly set to tie the knot with his model girlfriend Abbey Clancy next year.

The couple’s relationship appeared to have hit a rocky patch following newspaper stories claiming that Crouch had bedded Spanish prostitute Monica Mint during a friend’s stag party.

However, now it has been reported that the England and Spurs striker, 29, and model Abbey, 24, will exchange vows next June in romantic scented gardens.

Their 120 guests - made up of a galaxy of footie stars - including fellow footballer Wayne Rooney - and celebs will be ferried to the bash at the Isola Del Garda on Lake Garda in northern Italy.

“Abbey’s thrilled about the island - it’s a paradise where everything is perfect,” thesun.co.uk quoted a friend as saying.
