LONDON - Sylvester Stallone has been named the ultimate action hero, beating Arnold Schwarzenegger in a poll of nearly 2,000 people.
The “Expendables” actor won the poll hands down with 31 percent votes while Schwarzenegger came second with 24 percent votes and Bruce Willis was on third spot with 15 percent votes, reports contactmusic.com.
In this survey conducted by myprotein.com, Bruce Lee came in fourth while “Double Impact” star Jean Claude Van Damme was fifth.
“Salt” actress Angelina Jolie came in seventh in the list, the only woman to do so, beating Will Smith and Jason Statham.
Mark Coxhead, head of marketing at Myprotein.com, said: “It was nice to see Angelina Jolie making it into the top 10 and beating the likes of Chuck Norris and Will Smith, as many people do not often equate female film roles with the title of action hero.”
