Frost ‘proud’ Of Relations With Ex Law

British actress SADIE FROST is proud she’s forged such a “good relationship” with JUDE LAW following their split - because their marriage breakdown left her in a “dark” place.

The couple, who met on the set of 1994 movie Shopping, wed in 1997 and had three children together.

However, their marriage crumbled and they divorced in 2003 - and Frost admits she struggled to cope in the aftermath of the split.

She tells Britain’s Closer magazine, “I talk about him being the love of my life and how difficult it was for that relationship to finish because I never expected it to - especially so suddenly with three young children.

“I coped with it pretty badly and I had to kind of just keep going and pretend to myself that everything was okay, but now I can be reflective. Quite a few years have passed and I can look back and say, ‘Actually, it was a really dark time and I was in a lot of pain and I was very scared and very alone.’”

The two stars have since established an amicable relationship for the sake of their kids - and Frost hopes their attitude will prove inspirational for other divorced parents.

She adds, “We still have a very good relationship considering everything we’ve been through… Time heals and I have moved on now and I think hopefully that can be inspirational for some people because when you are broken-hearted and depressed and also suffering from postnatal depression, you never think you are going to feel okay again.”
