Shahrukh Khan Dispels Weight Loss Rumors

September 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri have been in Delhi for a few days now and on September 19 he dropped by Gurgaon. On the first day of his visit to Delhi, SRK went to meet his father-in-law who has just undergone an angioplasty. While he was at the hospital he and his wife went in for a complete health check up themselves at the suggestion of Dr. Seth.

Following the news of the check-up rumor mills started buzzing that Shahrukh has been taken ill. Finally SRK clarified that the rumors are baseless and he only underwent routine checkups to get a clean chit of health. A reliable source claimed that both the superstar and his wife are in perfect shape. Right now the actor is having a quiet time with his relatives and enjoying a small vacation at his home city.

Sources revealed that SRK spent the entire day lazing around at Gauri’s uncle’s home and he did not go out that much at all. On Saturday night, Shahrukh had a quiet dinner with a small group of friends and relatives. Recently Shahrukh had joked that he has become so thin that he can pass through his wedding ring. Shahrukh’s fans read too much into the comment and started panicking about the superstar’s health. Shahrukh later clarified that it was just a joke and there is no need for the fans to be concerned at all.
