CADILLAC REINCARNATED AS GHOSTBUSTERS ECTOMOBILEA 1959 Cadillac S&S ambulance has been rein-car-nated as the iconic motor from the eighties movie Ghostbusters. Having been read its last rites, the Caddy corpse was rescued from a Church in Maryland, USA, by coachbuilder Chris Reynolds.Saving it from a ‘fete’ worse than death, film fan Reynolds spent £65,000 turning it into one of the most sought-after promo and private-hire vehicles in Europe.Whilst the spooky sedan’s exterior represents a faithful recreation of the one featured in the 1984 film - including identical logos and roof props – ‘Ecto 1’s interior has been refurbished as a luxury limo, benefiting from a £7,000 refit that includes three leather-clad bench seats, designed to transport suitors in style.Weighing in at a mighty 2.55 tonnes and measuring 20ft long by 6.5ft wide - with a 6.5 litre V8 powered engine - this ghoul set o’ wheels is one big deal and is expected to fetch offers in the region of £75,000 - £85,000 during the forthcoming sale at Historics at Brooklands on 25th September.Reynolds said:
