Soorie respects women

August 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Soorie is really excited about his upcoming project “jackie”. According to the young and upcoming director, he was completely comfortable working with superstar Puneeth Raj Kumar. The Director was extremely cool around the superstars working under him and directed them especially well on the upcoming movie “Jackie”.
Soorie further added that he is not afraid of anyone, but he has a huge amount of respect for women. The director said he has a confidante in his big brother, who helps him take all the important decisions in life. According to Soorie, has created something unique with the songs in “Jackie”.
Soorie might hike his fee per song from INR 40,000 to INR 75,000. Soorie also mentioned he was in the process of perfecting his directing skills. His last film “Junglee” was very well received by the audience and according to Soorie, “Jackie” will be an even bigger hit. The director further added that he has experimented a bit with his new venture.
When asked about serious films worthy of National Awards, Soorie said he wants to have strong foundation in commercial films before trying out serious films.
